Maria Martinez Pottery Signatures - King Galleries - Scottsdale & Santa Fe

Maria Martinez pottery signatures varied over her career, later becoming some of the most recognized in Native pottery.  In 1904 Maria married Julian Martinez and together they made a great team. In 1918 they created a new style, the polished a “black-on-black” style.
