Julia Quinn publishes new 'Bridgerton' book

The second season of "Bridgerton" won
Bridgerton's second season won't hit Netflix until 2022, but Julia Quinn gave fans something to satisfy their craving with The Wit and Wisdom of Bridgerton: Lady Whistledown's Official Guide, published Tuesday via HarperCollins. Quinn authored the eight-book novel series from which Bridgerton was adapted for Netflix—executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, her first offering for the streamer since signing a lucrative production deal in 2017. It was an absolute joy to revisit the books and characters for The Wit and Wisdom of Bridgerton, Quinn told People. There were so many tiny moments I'd forgotten about. It provides a deeper understanding of the characters brought so skillfully to life on the show. Bridgerton premiered last Christmas and has been renewed through Season 4.
